Eye Care Financing

If you’re ready to start your journey to better vision, NeoVision understands that financing your eye care is but one of many things you’ll want to consider. Dr. Shobha Tandon has performed thousands of successful procedures since founding NeoVision in 1997. She provides a combination of expertise and technology that allows for the safest and most effective vision correction results—which means less worrying for you.

Getting to see people’s lives change every day gives us a unique perspective. When you see the effect that clear vision can have on a person, you want to give that experience to as many people as possible. Our financing options are applicable for eye care services including cataract surgery, multifocal lens implants, LASIK, and cosmetic procedures like radiosurgery. Eye care financing options:

1. Vision Insurance

NeoVision accepts vision care plans from many of the main healthcare insurance providers.

NeoVision accepts most medical PPO vision insurance plans for comprehensive eye exams and other eye care services. Accepted providers include: VSP Vision Care, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna. Click here for a complete list of accepted providers.

2. Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a benefit that allows you to set aside pre-tax money for eligible health care expenses (e.g. medical, dental, vision care, etc.).

An FSA is an employer established benefit plan that can be used for medical expenses, dental care, and vision care. If your employer offers FSAs, you choose the dollar amount to be deducted from your salary to be deposited into your FSA account pre-taxation; essentially allowing you to use untaxed income to pay for medical services.

Your FSA is like health insurance, but it comes out of your own pocket (untaxed) and some employer contributions may be made on top of the specified FSA dollar amount cap ($2,500).

By using an FSA, you save money on income tax and get to use pre-tax savings towards medical expenses. FSAs are typically owned by the employer, and any unused FSA funds typically expire at the end of the year.

3. Health Savings Account (HSA)

A Health Savings Account (HSA) is type of savings account that lets you set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualified medical expenses.

Health Savings Accounts are similar to Flexible Spending Accounts in that they both allow you to save pre-tax dollars to be used for health care costs. This includes insurance deductibles and qualified medical expenses, including those that may not be covered by health insurance, such as vision care.

By using untaxed dollars in a Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and some other expenses, you may be able to lower your overall health care costs. HSA funds generally may not be used to pay premiums.

Health Savings Accounts are usually controlled by the individual (not the employer) and funds can rollover into a new year instead of expiring as they would in a Flexible Spending Account.

4. CareCredit

CareCredit is a healthcare-focused credit card that allows holders to pay for health-related costs monthly instead of all at once.

CareCredit offers a variety of financing options that allow you to pay for your LASIK procedure over time.

The benefits of CareCredit financing include:

  • No up-front costs
  • 24 months interest-free financing
  • Prepay any time without penalty
  • Requires pre-approval by Care Credit. The application process takes less than 5 minutes

CareCredit’s 24-Month LASIK Financing

A 24-month financing option allows our patients the freedom of spacing payments out over the longest period of time possible.

CareCredit financing is not eligible with all promotions. In certain cases, there may be a processing fee for using CareCredit financing, please contact our office for more details or questions.
